Sock Yarn Snakes

I have lots of sock yarn.  It makes great snakes. 

I have made this yarn into finger less mitts but have yet to finish the first sock. Using up this pretty color way from Red Heart.  The snake pattern is from itty-bitty toys by Susan B. Anderson.  http://www.amazon.com/Itty-Bitty-Toys-Animals-Dolls-Playthings/dp/1579653766  I made this snake the last time with left over worsted weight yarns. It came out huge.  Since Susan wrote the pattern for sock weight yarn I have always intended to do it up correctly.  It is taking even longer to finish, but I think it is going to be adorable.  
So who needs a snake?
