Waiting for Baby

There is a new baby arriving soon to my family. Everything about this wee one will be a surprise until the grand entrance into the world is made.  Very exciting, but as a Gramma who knits and loves color it is a challenge.
Greens and yellows it is!
A little color work for a leaf top hat Berry Baby Hat

The blankets are small and meant to be used as carriage blankets or over the car seat.  Just a little soft squishy cover. Gleeful Baby Blanket

Mom and big brother are waiting too!

I love that hat. It is so cute. Could you sell some of those? I used to make receiving blankets out of flannelette.

Dianne, I made a lot of them last year and sold them. Took a little break from knitting for etsy this year only did some scarfs and mitts.

How wonderful! I never thought of making smaller blankets for my new grandson and made a rather large one. I noticed my daughter in law was using the smaller ones that were gifted to her by others quite a lot since the little guy is still pretty small. Next time I'll think mini-sized. You learn something everyday!
